He also is known as The doctor to the stars who he treats if they have any medical problems while in New York. He has coauthored songs for the bands Two Bucks and Change and Fiddlin Red with Grammy award winner Ron Levine and Jonathan Levine. But he feels his greatest accomplishments in life are being a good caring doctor and, he hopes, a great dad.

Good read!

I hope he writes the sequel and gets it on the market quickly! I also liked his "Effect" trilogy, so far this one compares favorably. I would like to see him write a WWIII novel or series in near future with Russia and China forming an alliance that is met head-on by the Western nations headed by the UK and the USA, with battlegrounds in the Pacific and Central / Western Europe. It would cover some of the same ground as the Effect trilogy but with updated weapons & political scenarios.

I know this is how it would be if nuclear war happened. Human nature is human nature. With no law and order civilization will break down. Who is there to stop someone from killing you? You will do what you have to do in order to survive. That's just the way it is, Very good book, can't wait for the next book.

Very sobering look at the last remnants of civilization. The personalization of everyday people in a desperate situation, makes this really come close to home. Makes one wonder if the lucky ones are those that left in an instant when the balloon went up.

Sliding void sounds much cooler than flying through space.

Void All the Way Down is a collection of three stories about the captain of a creaking spaceship and her small, but motley, crew on a past its prime ship. While they aren’t pirates, they’re clients certainly aren’t to be trusted. Captain Lana Fiveworld’s past is shrouded in mystery and she’s desperate to make it to her future. I liked how the author mixed in familiar company names and even some jargon to make the fictional universe he created easier for the reader to believe. I like how these stories ended, but I can’t wait to read the next adventure.

Exciting read!!

This was such an exciting and adventure filled book! Stephen Hunt has hit the ball out of the park with this one. I am a huge fan of science fiction stories so I am very critical and expect a lot from my authors. This one definitely does not disappoint. The characters and the storyline are so well developed that I challenge anyone to find a better volume of sci-fi stories anywhere. I could easily see this book made into a major motion picture or a reoccurring television series. I would say that it is just as good as some of the bigger more popular sci-fi adventures like Star Wars. I do not like to talk about plots or specifics, as I would never want to ruin a good read such as this for another reader. But, take it from me you will absolutely love this book! 5 big stars!

The Gravity Rose and Lana Fiveworlds have more secrets that they don't know. Zeno a trusted AI knows more than he is saying what are the secrets of Lana?? A small crew with their own problems drawn to the Gravity Rose family. Want to read more and find out all the secrets.

The Time Paradox Tackled - What Fun!

Moran dives head first into the impossibilities of time travel and comes up smiling. What fun for the reader ("Oh! He's not really going there, is he? YES! He did!"). Although the nefarious deeds of the CIA require no suspension of disbelief, Moran's apparent approval of that organization corrupting teenage boys beggars comprehension. But it only makes the books more interesting and damages not a whit their status as premier page-turners. I couldn't put them down.

I am going to miss them

I just love time travel books. This is one to read. All of them. I was hook from the very first page. I immediately purchased the entire series. I don't know if the writer reads these comments, and not giving,at least not trying, giving any spoilers. My question to him, in the third book when The Thanksgiving Gang, when in time, nothing was mentioned about their person in that time? Where were they, what were they doing? I was just thinking about the "grandfather paradox", of course some of the character were not there. If anyone can answer this, please do. Read this series and enjoy.

A Teenage Daydream

I was ecstatic to find this on Amazon and I immediately ordered it. I've never forgotten this amazing tale from the 60's when the Mod takeover was in full bloom. Little things stuck with me, like the girls wearing something frilly on top paired with leather trousers or vice versa. Excellent fashion advice, I thought at the time! I think the movie "Wild in the Streets" had a lot of the same elements but it was a bit silly and the English setting of this book was more fascinating and exotic. I wish the Stones would have made a film of it because I think Keith and Mick could have carried it off. Back then, it was the ardent wish of many people my age that exactly what happens in this book take place. But be careful what you wish for...

Cannot wait to finish the rest of the book. I wasn't around when The Rolling Stones were interested in making this book into a movie but having saying that, I am in love with the movie, 'Only Lovers Left Alive'... the loosely based interpretation of the book. But both are awesome, just in different ways. *Amaze!!!!!*

Not much happens, people commit suicide and gangs of youths take over. The reason I read this book was because a projected film project for thew Rolling Stones, in 1966 ,was to be based on this book. Thankfully, the film never happens because the premise for this book doesn't either. I found the book quite dull but readable.

Dr Colbert covers so much material that I can say that's what I love and that's what I do not like about this book. He answers many more questions than I knew I had. He addresses inflammation from the weight loss point of view. I purchased the book because I realize I have debilitating inflammation. Well, to reverse this condition, I will have to purchase a number of supplements. None of them are recommended in the compound form. I will be spending a lot of money to get myself out of this. But, I will have a great detailed guide. Thank you Dr Colbert.
